Afrisand Ghana operates a blockyard based in Oyarefa,
Accra (off the Accra-Aburi road) and a satellite
office in South Odorkor, Accra (on the Sakaman Road)
The blocks produced are of the highest quality and
are used to build security walls, houses, schools,
churches etc. all over the country.
Eight trained Afrisand men produce ± 1600
Hydraform interlocking blocks per day, per machine.
Approximately 10 more people are required to use the
product for construction in the building system.
Meaning, in all, around 20 people can be employed
directly and indirectly with one Hydraform
block-making machine. The production is a modular
system that can be increased as and when work
increases.
